Waiting (Not So Patiently)

 

Do I look impatient? It's because I am!

 

You see, Mommy and I have our Secret Paw gifts all set to go except for ONE item that we're waiting for our local drug store to get back in stock. They've assured us it will be back in before Christmas but my friends are waiting for their package!!! (Plus, Mommy said I'll be getting this gift too... teehee!)

 

Sigh...I sure hope my Secret Paw is more patient than I am.

 Oh, so this is the package that will be going out to our Secret Paw this week.  Sure hope they like everything!

We got our Secret Paws package ready today. It's prepared to launch! We had a fun time packing it, too. Everything is wrapped separately, just like the kitties like. We even threw in a little treat for the people, too! It's specifically labeled "NOT FOR CATS!"

I hope our Secret Paws recipient really likes what we picked out! We did our best! We even had a little mishap. We had the box all ready to get packed, and then realized that one of our treats was too big to go in the box! So we had to go back to the store and buy something that was very similar, but without the stick that was attached to it. Don't worry. MomFOD kept the gift and I think it'll be going in our Christmas stocking this year!

We can't wait to get ours in the mail soon!

Weze am doing ours in two furry fun parts... One frum the Dad who am in the same country as our Secret Paw and one package from all us kittiez and the Mom in America!  If we tells where the Dad am, it might give away who our Secret Paw am...

Well part one frum the Dad am mailed on Monday but the mom furgotted to tell the dad purrson about taking a photo...

He doesn't has a camera...sooo... weze tellz u dats der am fun stuffoms init.... sum treetz and Soft Toys Fur Whoppin (dis am clue)!!  The Dad said sumpin waz pink or blue but he dint send us a photo...

We have our Secret Paw present all together, wrapped and ready to go - it goes to the post office tomorrow and will be on its way ... we SOOO wanted to play with all the fun toys but Mom told us NO ...

Recommendations

All of the names have been emailed to your Secret Paw.  If you haven't received your name(s), please email us immediately so we can take care of this.  We thought we'd post a few hints and reminders about participating in Secret Paws.

1. Visit your secret paws blog to get to know a little about them.  If they don't have a blog, read comments in the email you received to learn a more about your special kitty.
2. Double check the address in your email to make sure it's a valid address.  You may want to look it up on the Internet to verify it.  If it's not valid, email us and we'll contact your kitty.
3. Check deadlines for shipping with the post office, Fed Ex, UPS, etc., especially if you are shipping to another country.
4. Consider shipping your package using Priority Shipping in order to have a tracking number and insurance.
5. Be sure to include a card inside your package to identify who you are with your email and/or blog address so your secret paw can thank you.
6. Review the likes and dislikes of the kitties from your email.  Some of the kitties have allergies and we'd hate them to get something that would make them sick.
7. Feel free to drop in a little surprise for the human.  They always like chocolate, notepads, and other special items.
8. Consider wrapping each item in holiday wrap.  Many of the kitties have expressed they like this.
9. Some of the kitties have woofies and other fur children in their houses.  This is an exchange for kitties, but if you feel comfortable sending something to the other species, please feel free to do so.
10. Please accept the "author request" to post on this blog.  If you can't find the email request, please let us know and we'll send it again.
11. Post about putting your special package together to ship on your own blog and here!
12. When you receive your package, please either send an email thank you to your secret paw or post on your blog and/or this blog pictures of your kitties enjoying the package.
13. Most of all, have fun!
