Momma forgot to take pictures

We got our package all ready to mail and wrapped all of the fun presents on Sunday, but that silly Momma of ours forgot to take any pictures.  But, we can't be too unhappy with her - she did the shopping for us and she did take it to the post office and made sure it got sent "hurry and tell us when it gets there" mail.  We really hope that our friends like their presents and can't wait to see them open the box and everything in it!

Since we don't have a blog, we thought we'd share what we look like instead of the pictures that Momma didn't take.  Hope that's okay.

This is me - Charlemagne.  I'm the oldest of the three of us and I'm the big boy in the house.

I'm Tamar and I'm the princess of the house.  I like to cuddle with Momma and Daddy - when I want to, of course.

And I'm Mal.  I'm the youngest and the newest of the kitties.  Momma and Daddy rescued me about 3 years ago and I love them a lot!

We hope everyone is having fun getting ready for Christmas!

A surprise parcel

Look at what the mailman has just brought ! There, for us, you see this package in our name from the United Kingdom ?

Our Santa Claws, or rather our Santa Mothers of Secret Paws are…. Hannah et Lucy ! 

We need Claire’s help to unpack the package. Go, open fast !…  Wow ! There are so many great things inside : greedy food packs with tuna flavor and chicken flavor that we are delighted to taste, and full of toys ! Mice of sisal, a mouse more true than nature which squeaks when we knock it down, a crinkling butterfly with catnip, an enormous mouse stocked with feathers and flavored with catnip, with a texture perfectly studied to plant our fangs inside, and a ball with tails (with catnip also).

L : – The Tons of Tails, I love it, it’s for me !

Z : – It is brilliant all these toys ! Oh, that squeaks, did you hear Loupi ? And this attractive butterfly oh, oooh, catniiiiiip ! Yeaaaaah! Let’s attack the mouse with feather !

L : – You annoy me Zorro, be going to play somewhere else !

Thank you, thank you very much Hannah and Lucy, your presents are really cool !

Furry Fun Am Mailed Part 2

The following tooks place yesterday late Afternoon (Tuesday the 10th around 4pm).

Joey: I see the problem Mom. Too much stuffoms in this lil box.  (Joey tries to pull the soft toys out and run off with them.)

Mom:  Oh no you don't... your new catnip toy is over here. (the Mom tosses Joey's toy into the hallway.  Joey runs after it)

Joey: But dat looked like my toy in da box...

Mom:  Cause yours is made the same... You're right about one thing, Joey,  This box is too small. Let's find another one.

Joey: Yes this box works much better.  Why am the wrapping paper blue and pink?

Mom:  Our Secret Paw likes those colors. Some of the gifts are blue and pink, too! I know the Dad sent some fun stuffs already, yet our box has some things made in the USA or only found here...

Joey:  What am in the pink kitty folder?

Mom: That's a secret. We're mailing two packages, Joey.  One in a box and one in a flat mailer... So our Secret Paw may get their packages from a different delivery or on different days... 

Joey: I hopes they get them by Chrissymouse or at least by Boxing Day... 
Mom:  Me Too.  The packages will get mailed as soon as we close the box.  They will go air mail since it is too much $$ to send Priority... but we live in a postal hub!  That means First Class goes on the same plane with Priority!  So the packages will still get to our Secret Paws country very quickly.

Joey:  They gots the Dad's package already didn't they?  
Mom:  I hope so, Joey....The Dad forgot to wrap his presents. Silly Dad. We haven't seen any posties about it on their bloggie though... Maybe they are waiting for Chrissymouse!

Joey: Well I still think that looks like my toy..

Mom:  Time to close the Box!!!!

Joey:  Aww Mom!!!  Okay  Bye Bye toys.  Have a Furry Safe Journey!

(Just a wee note:  while at the post office, the printed mailing slip for the box somehow disappeared. So the Mom wrote the address on the box by hand in order to get it off before the post office closed yesterday. Which means that a person at the postal hub may have to type in the address into the postal data center. We am purring that it doesn't delay the package.) 

Almost Ready

Mum got in gear tonight and wrapped up the Secret Paw stuff. I, Ducky was nearby to snoopervise, but let mum have room to do her thing. I didn't want to get sticky tape on my paws.

 It fit so nice in the little box and then mum added some stuff to cushion it for the trip.

 We even have wrapping paper with ginger cats on it! How cool.

 The package, all ready to go, and mum furry wisely blocked the address that is on the package. Could it be you? You will have to see if our package comes to you. We just have to get mum to take it to the station.

Now we wait for our Secret Paw stuff to arrive. We can't wait to see who we got paired up with this year and what we got. We love doing this.

Parcel on its' way!

 Malou , " I'm watching LP getting the Santa Paws parcel together. I have a toy in my lap that was given to us last year in our surprise Christmas parcel. I still love it! "

 Malou, " I stomped around in the box a bit to make sure it all fit in properly. I might have torn a tiny little bit of wrapping paper on one of the presents in the process. Oopsies!"

 Malou , " LP put the last present on top of all the rest, then pushed down on the box top and taped it all up!"

Malou , " I hope our new friends will like all their surprises!"

we finally got the mom to go shopping....

Took her long enough, but she got it done - and the package went in the mail this morning.

 Mozart made sure that mom was wrapping everything correctly.

 Saffron had to help inspect the wrapping paper.

Everything in the box ready to go.  Mom had it sitting on the chair this morning before she left and some cat almost got a surprise - Junior was trying to get himself in the box. Mom made sure he was removed before taping it shut - we don't think anyone wants the large orange tabby for Christmas.

The USPS says that the present we sent is OUT FOR DELIVERY .... right NOW ..... Some Kitty will be getting gifts TODAY
